Greg Pieczynski 

Staff Instructor

Serves as George Mason Head Golf Coach since 2020. Led GMU in 2022 to its best-ever Conference finish (3rd) with two individual All-Conference selections also a school record. Previously, served as Director of Instruction at Manor Country Club in Rockville MD from 2016-2020 teaching over 250 hours of private instruction annually; doubled the amount of junior golf programs including clinics, camps, and PGA Junior League. Under his tenure there, he also created seven unique women’s instructional programs that increased participation over 300%. He is a certified instructor with US Kids Golf and Flightscope. He also worked as a golf professional at Old Palm Golf Club (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) and Weston Golf Club (Weston, MA).

As a player, won the 2023 Mid Atlantic PGA Championship and qualified 2024 PGA Professional Championship. Collegiately, played on Penn State Men’s Golf Team finishing 4th in NCAA East Regional and winning Rutherford Intercollegiate in 2004.
